BREAKFAST MENU
A choice of cereals and fruit juice.
Followed by Boiled eggs, scrambled eggs or beans or tinned
tomatoes on toast.
When available:- kippers or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs
on toast.
Northumberland Breakfast:
Bacon, sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans and fried eggs
or a selection of any of the above.
Omelettes - Cheese, mushroom or plain
Whenever possible we try to use only home grown or local
produce, and free range eggs.
Home baked bread is also generally served.
If there are any special dietary requirements please
contact us and we will do our best to satisfy them.
EATING OUT
There
are plenty of places to eat in the area - a pub in Bardon Mill
and pubs and restaurants in Haydon Bridge and Haltwhistle.

On the military road is the Milecastle
Inn, which serves local game recipes, you can choose
whether to eat in the bar or the restaurant. Langley
Castle serves continental as well as local and regional
dishes. Fresh fish and locally caught game are a speciality
and they are reknowned for their Chocolate, Cointreau Truffle
cake.
There are fish and chip shops in both Haydon Bridge and Haltwhistle,
as well as Indian takeaways.
BRING A TAKEAWAY
We realise that if you have had a busy day sightseeing or
enjoying the wonderful countryside you may not wish to go out
in the evening to eat. .
You are more than welcome to bring in a takeaway meal to have
in the dining room/ lounge, or sit at a table in the rear garden
by the fish pond and enjoy your meal alfresco.
